In many Underground car parks and basements, high humidity is a permanent problem – with unpleasant consequences such as mold growth, musty odors and long-term structural damage. INOSENT’s humidity control system offers an effective, energy-efficient solution for controlled Ventilation.
The basis for humidity control is the absolute humidity sensor type I2238-W, which measures the actual amount of water vapor in the air regardless of the temperature. At least two sensors are used for reliable control: one sensor is installed outdoors to record the humidity levels in the outside air, while one or more other sensors are installed indoors, for example in cellars or underground parking areas. In this way, the control system recognizes exactly when ventilation control is actually necessary – based on the actual difference in humidity between the indoor and outdoor air.
Coupled with the Compact Pro control center , up to 32 sensors and 5 ventilation zones can be processed. Ventilation is only activated when dry outside air actually contributes to effective dehumidification – in a targeted, energy-saving and demand-oriented manner.
INOSENT not only supplies the sensors, but also complete ventilation control cabinets – ready for operation and tailored to your application. Our humidity control system can also be retrofitted with existing INOSENT exhaust gas monitoring systems in Underground car parks, which offers a cost-effective solution, especially for existing mold problems.
On request, our INOSENT specialists will carry out on-site inspections and create a customized solution for your Underground car park or basement – based on the recommendations of the current SWKI guideline VA103.
